Accepting Terms and Conditions
There is a link to 'Read Our Terms and Conditions' in every tour's description. By purchasing a ticket for a tour with International Student UK Tours (ISUK Tours), you agree to and accept the following terms and conditions. This agreement is between you, the tour participant (henceforth referred to as "you" or "your") and International Student UK Tours (henceforth referred to as "ISUK Tours", "we" or "our").
Age restrictions
Students (and/or non-students) are to be a minimum age of 18 at the time of travel. Students (and/or non-students) are to be a minimum age of 18 at the time of travel. You need to contact us beforehand if you are booking tickets for minors/children. We do not take any responsibility if you book tickets for minors without informing us in advance.
Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made via our Eventbrite page (isuktours.eventbrite.com) and by contacting us by email at (isuktours@gmail.com). To guarantee your participation on any ISUK Tours trip, payment must be made in full to ISUK Tours. This is subject to availability and at the discretion of ISUK Tours, which will reserve your seat on the tour.
You need to provide us by your correct email address. If you book your ticket with incorrect email address, you are responsible for not receiving any notification from us about the tour.
Tickets and Pricing
Admission fees (such as entry to historic attractions and guided tours in whisky distillery and historic attractions) are not included in the tour price unless expressly mentioned in the tour description. The cost of accommodation is included in the ticket price for our 2 Days Tours to Isle of Skye unless expressly mentioned in the tour description.
Accommodation
The accommodation is usually a standard hostel and guests can choose a room based on their preferences and availability including a female room, a male room or a mixed room. We usually do the rooms allocation on the coach on the way on the departure day.
Lost Items During the Tour
The passengers are responsible for their personal belongings while they are visiting the places on tours. We cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to personal items. The passengers are strongly recommended to take out personal insurance for such situations.
Change of cost, itinerary and cancellation by us
Although, ISUK Tours will make every effort to avoid changes to the itinerary and cost, ISUK Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries if required to do so due to unforeseen circumstances during the tour. Please be aware that the nature of travel involves risks and unpredictable weather and road conditions and we cannot, therefore, guarantee any departure or arrival times at any particular points of a tour itinerary. In case of cancellation by ferry, due to weather condition or technical issues, we will offer an alternative itinerary and you will be refunded only the cost of the ferry ticket or you may be offered an extra activity of an equivalent of ferry ticket cost. All tours require a minimum number of participants to operate at the price projected and publicised. If the minimum number is not reached, this may result in a change in cost and/or itinerary or cancellation of the tour. If you decide not to attend the tour for any reason, we encourage you to take the appropriate travel insurance to cover the costs before you book a tour with us.
Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable and ticket transfers are not possible either. In the event that you are unable to attend the tour, tickets may be offered for resell to anyone you wish as long as you follow our Age Restrictions in our Terms and Conditions . However, you need to inform us by email in advance and include the full name of the person who purchases your ticket with his/her contact details. Otherwise, that ticket is not valid and cannot be used by anyone who purchases your ticket.
In the event of cancellation of the tour by us, we will always refund you in full.
Promotional photographs
During the tours, tour guides usually take photographs for use in ISUK Tours flyers, Facebook page and group, videos and other promotional materials. ISUK Tours reserves the right to use these images and videos for promotional purposes, unless otherwise notified to us by you in writing.
Insurance policy
We strongly recommend that passengers arrange their own suitable travel and medical insurance.
All our tours are Risk Assessed before being advertised. ISUK Tours has the appropriate Public Liability Insurance to operate. Our coach partners who work with us also have their own Insurance in place for the journey.
It is a tour participant's responsibility to look after themselves on our tours. Our guides will always offer health and safety advice at every stage of the tour. However, be aware that if you disobey a sign or information provided by our tour guides and you injure yourself, then ISUK Tours cannot be held responsible. Our tour guides are always mindful of each of our tour participants' welfare, however they cannot ensure the personal safety of participants. Therefore, at all times you must exercise care for your own well being.
Leaving the tour
The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence, upset or danger to other passengers. The Company also reserves the right to refuse travel to any person who is experiencing medical symptoms likely to cause ill health to others. It is therefore vital that you ensure that you are fit to travel on the departure date. You may also leave the tour at anytime by giving earlier notice to your tour guide.
Tour participant's responsibilities
Missing the Pick Up Point:
It is your responsibility to ensure you are at the correct Pick Up Point at the correct time. No refunds will be issued if you fail to be at the Pick Up Point at the correct time.
We will not reply any email on the day of departure if you miss the tour for any reason.
In the event that you miss the Pick Up Point for being late, any extra travel costs incurred are paid by you.
We will not pick you up if you change your pick up point without informing us.
During the tours, meeting times are set by your tour guides. It is your responsibility to meet back at the coach at the correct time and location specified. Please be considerate of your fellow tour participants and do not be late for these meeting times. In the event that you miss a planned departure, any extra travel costs incurred are paid by you.
Health and fitness:
Our tours may involve walking aspects, the degree dependent on the specific tour. As a tour participant, you should be in good health and have an appropriate level of fitness to walk on the tours. You must inform us of any medical condition, medical history or medications that you are on. This particularly affects asthma, diabetes, heart conditions and allergies (especially to wasp/bee stings and any food allergies). If you get travel sick, you also need to inform us in advance.
Personal Data Usage Policy
Please note that by joining a tour with International Students UK Tours you are agreeing to our data usage. You will receive a reminder email about the tour and other issues if necessary on the week of your tour and an additional update email about the future tours. Your contact details are taken on the day of travel and are destroyed after the tour. No details are kept by International Students UK Tours for further use. You may check Eventbrite policy with regard to data usage by Eventbrite.
