Q: Can non- students join?
A: Yes, all students and non-students (visitors and professionals) are welcome.

Q: Is it possible to bring non-students (friends and family members) with me?
A: Yes, your friends or family members are welcome to join the tours. 
 
Q: Where is the meeting/departing point?
A: We offer 3 Pick Up Points in Glasgow University, Strathclyde University, UWS Paisley and you can find out more HERE.

Q: Are tickets refundable?

A: Tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets can be offered to resale to others. However, you must notify us by email if you sell your ticket to others and provide us with the full name and contact details of the person who may take your ticket. This is for check-in purposes. 

Q: Can I get a refund if I miss the pick up point or if I am late to arrive at the pick up point? 
A: We advise you to always check the pick up point in advance. You are responsible to plan ahead and arrive at the Pick Up Point 5-10 minutes in advance. We will leave on time as we have a timetable for each itinerary. If you are late at the Pick Up Point for any reason and miss the tour, your ticket will not be refunded.​

Q: What can I do if I arrive late at the Pick up Point?
A: The coaches will not be held for Passengers who are late at the pick up point. You can email us at istours.uk@gmail.com. However, as we run tours over the weekends, we will not be able to reply any email over the weekends until the first Monday after the tour. You are responsible to arrive at the Pick Up Point 5-10 minutes in advance. There will be no refund if you are arrive late at the pick up point.  

Q: What are included in my ticket?
A: Every tour includes transportation (a return journey) by a luxury coach, a driver, a guide and free time for sights, walking, hiking, shopping and attractions.

Q: Are the optional extras (such as food and entry to attractions) included?
A: Your ticket includes transportation, a tour guide and visiting the places in the itinerary. However, all other expenses such as meals, tea, coffee, souvenir and entry to attractions are not included.

Q: What language are the tours conducted in? 
A: English.

Q: Do we have time to visit the places?
A: Yes, you will always have enough time for lunch and to explore the places. 

Q: What should I bring with me?
A: On every tour please make sure you bring an ID, warm clothes, proper walking / hiking shoes, a camera to capture memorable moments, a bottle of water, snacks, cash or card to pay for meals, tea, coffee and souvenirs.  

Q: What is the age limit on your tours?
A: Our tours are planned for adult students aged over 18. In some cases, we might accept children in some of our tours that might be suitable for children if accompanied by legal adults. However, if you are bringing children with you, you must let us know in advance and before you book tickets. We reserve the right to refuse check in the minors if we have not be not notified before you book the tickets. 

Q: What is the best tour?
A: All our tours are indeed fantastic and every tour is different and offers stunning views and amazing locations worth visiting. Over the past years we have been receiving great feedback and reviews on every single tour. Our most popular and most wanted tour is Isle of Skye & the Highlands Weekend Trip. 


Q: How much luggage can I bring?
A: You can bring as much luggage as you need to. However, we strongly advise you to travel light. 

Q: Should I buy travel insurance?
A: Yes, we highly recommend you take out travel insurance.
